INEOS F1 Design Competition

To raise awareness of the Go Humans Academy, INEOS launched a competition for UK children aged 11-18 to design a helmet for Sir Lewis Hamilton.

The INEOS Go Humans Academy helps people, especially children, enhance their mental and physical fitness, emotional health, and overall wellbeing. It offers masterclasses from elite athletes and experts, sharing practical advice and strategies to improve everyday life.

The brief

Winners gain confidence, design skills, and a unique behind-the-scenes experience with Mercedes F1, seeing their helmet come to life and meeting Hamilton at a 2024 F1 race, while promoting the Academy and INEOS Hygienics.

The solution

We created an integrated campaign featuring three videos with Sir Lewis Hamilton, promoting the competition across social, digital, and PR channels.

The content was shared on social media, online, and in print, targeting parents of children interested in Formula 1, design, and art to encourage participation.

A 16.5 million unique reach across social media, with over 23 million video views. We also saw a 3,182% rise in TikTok followers and got 82,000 link clicks through to the competition page.
